Vitamin C Cosmetics

Postby cosmeceutical7 » Tue Apr 03, 2012 4:41 pm

hello again One group of cosmetics that can't really be missed is Vitamin C Serum or Cream or Toner. Let's start briefly about Vitamin C first, the reason why everyone likes it. (called that some people are almost crazy) because 1. Can stimulate the synthesis of Collagen of the skin as well. (I feel that after applying it, I feel that my face is bouncing and tightening) 2. Anti-oxidant very well, it is anti-aging in the body as well 3. Has the effect of helping to whiten the skin. Even I myself apply it every day  Vitamin C Mainly used in cosmetics, there are 2 types
    L-Ascorbic Acid or LAA
Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate for short. MAP
both There are different pros and cons. LAA is the most efficient. That is, the skin can use it at all, so it doesn't take long to see results. but the disadvantage is
Not resistant to oxidation so if mixed with water Within a short time it immediately became yellow, useless
will work fine. Must be in acidic condition, pH about 3.5-4, therefore not suitable for thin skin people
MAP. It has the advantage of being stable, it doesn't matter if it touches water. And works well in the range of pH 6.5-7.5, making sensitive skin can use it. but the disadvantage is
Efficacy in creating collagen And make your skin whiter than LAA (but if you use it, it's ok)
In conclusion, eh, which one should I choose...... I'll explain later with a review of each popular product :D

The first and the best (I'm sure :D ) is Skinceutical CE Ferulic

Skinceutical CE Ferulic research-based. Find a way to reduce the oxidation of Vit C LAA. As usual, as I said, if vitamin C L-Ascorbic acid (LAA), which is more effective than MAP because the skin can use it at all, but the problem is that I found water right away. will oxidize immediately which makes it ineffective. Skinceutical has found that if using Vitamin E and Ferulic acid mix in the right ratio. It will help to slow down oxidation (I'm not saying that it won't oxidize at all, but oxidize is slow. If anyone has used it before, you'll see that the gel is water if it's kept for a little longer >3 months, you'll see. It's starting to be a light yellow, it's already oxidized, but it still works well. Although the performance would have decreased slightly. I received a sample as shown in the picture, 4 small tubes. Notice that 1. It's a dark colored tube. Because external light will help accelerate oxidation. 2. Look at the gel texture. This one is a little light yellow (very light) which means that when it comes to our hands, it's probably around my age. 4-5 months ago

Skinceutical has a patent for this formulation method. which means explain the method clearly but no one can commercialize it. (But it's not wrong to mix it for personal use :D because the original is so expensive The reason is that http://www.google.com/patents?id=1HSWAAAAEBAJ&printsec=frontcover&dq=20050154054 CE Ferulic is the best of the vitamin c family. They are 1. It is water-based and can be absorbed into the skin easily and quickly. 2. Contains other substances such as hyaluronic acid that helps nourish the skin to be ready for the acidic vitamin c 3. In addition to vitamin e and ferulic acid to help slow down vitamin c oxidation, it also helps to anti-oxidant to the skin. Vitamin e is already known to be an anti-oxidant, ferulic acid is well researched (see: http://www.nature.com/jid/journal/v125/n4/full/5603565a.html ) this last image. express the intention that Get ready to copy hehe  Give me 2-3 weeks and I'll be back with the blending process. It's a simple method and uses a base of hyaluronic acid (please use a ready-to-use base from myskinrecipes.com/shop, which has a base Double Hyaluronic Acid already available. So you don't have to waste time doing it again)

I forgot, this is the ingredient list of Skinceutical CE Ferulic Water Ethoxydiglycol. This helps dissolve Vit C LAA and make the gel smooth. L-ascorbic Acid 15% This one is 15% active in real life :D Propylene Glycol helps to make the gel slippery. Glycerin is nice to use as well. Laureth-23 also contains vitamin e which is an oil. This emulsifier helps to combine water. Combined with this Alpha Tocopherol oil is vitamin e, a type of pure vitamin e with very high viscosity. Phenoxyethanol Preservatives Triethanolamine This is alkaline to help adjust the pH properly. Not too acidic because it contains too much LAA. Ferulic Acid is an anti-oxidant that I have already mentioned, Panthenol moisturizes the skin, Sodium Hyaluronate (or hyaluronic acid). will be written in the room skin care formula

Second one, Cellular Skin RX Image Composition L-Ascorbic Acid 12% Butylene Glycol This one has its pros and cons. this time (I have to tell you that I've never used it. I've never seen a sample of the product itself.) - LAA 12% concentration is a lot, but 15% of Skinceutical without irritation. It's definitely more to my heart :D - Using Butylene Glycol as a base (meaning that you have to put in a high amount) may cause irritation. There are studies from many institutions confirming that various glycol substances such as Butylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol should not be used in large quantities. Because it will irritate - inexpensive, selling abroad, 30ml at USD38 or about not more than 1200 Thai baht (if talking about the cost, it's still very expensive, 150 baht, but if compared to other cosmetics that give the same effect This price is considered inexpensive. The reason for using Butylene Glycol as a base instead of water (water-base) is because Cellular Skin RX doesn't have a technique like Skinceutical to stabilize L-Ascorbic Acid, so we refrain from using water as an ingredient. Of course, the life of the product will be longer than that of Skinceutical, of course, because it does not contain water to cause oxidation, but it lacks Vitamin E and Ferulic, which have been said to help increase the power of Vitamin C a lot (not in terms of oxidation. white skin But it's about skin rejuvenation (anti-aging / anti-oxidant)

Ingredients: Propylene Glycol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Ascorbic Acid, Glycerin, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Lauroyl Lysine, Acrylates Copolymer, Adenosine. The difference from Cellular Skin RX is that Propylene Glycol + Cyclopentasiloxane is used as base instead of Cyclopentasiloxane. by avoiding the use of water as before In order to prevent oxidation, Propylene Glycol and Butylene Glycol are almost different. act the same And if used in large amounts, there is a chance to irritate the skin as well. Cyclopentasiloxane is a type of silicone that evaporates quickly. The disadvantage is that there have been research results with experimental animals that it can cause cancer if used in large amounts. However, it has not been confirmed. If used in humans, it can cause cancer as well. L-Ascorbic Acid (LAA) Kiehl's tells consumers that using 10.5% concentration is enough to see results after a few days of use. The pros and cons are the same as the Cellular Skin RX, but the heavy downside of this one is ...... the price is very high  ......

Asking for permission to repay Khun c7 because Khun c7 travels abroad. Come back around the end of this month. Actually, according to the Skinceutical CE Ferulic formula mentioned by c7, it already contains hyaluronic, so it feels really smooth when applied (MySkinRecipes team I've been waiting to see it too :-) )
