Substitute for CTAC in herbal conditioner formula.

Postby arrisa_ka » Mon Jun 17, 2019 9:41 am

Please ask about % substance Cetrimonium Chloride in herbal conditioner formula. Due to the process of taking note of the formula But found that there was an announcement from the Ministry of Public Health that do not put this substance in the product more than 2.5% in the formula, but in the formula that is about to be notified, this substance has slightly exceeded the limit according to the announcement. Therefore, I would like to ask if we will use the substance CTAC in 2.5% formula according to the Ministry's announcement So which substance can we use to fill the missing part in the formula to replace it? CTAC ? BTAC but I'm not sure if they can be used interchangeably or not, please advise.

Hello BTAC can thicken the formula if used in high doses. But using the level of 1% has a very small effect on the thickness.
