Licorice Extract (Glabridin 40%) is insoluble in glycol.

Hello, I would like to ask how to dissolve. I have tried Glabridin 40% in an amount of 0.05% dissolved in Butylene Glycol 2% and stir well but Glabridin did not dissolve completely. There are still tablets dispersed in glycol. I want to know if this GLA should actually dissolve until clear or not? And should I use any additional methods to help dissolve it? Thank you.

Please allow me to comment - try adding Butylene Glycol is 5%, then use no more than heat. 60 degrees in a short time will help to dissolve a lot - but if you do not want to increase the amount of Butylene Glycol try reducing Glabridin 40% to 0.02% and then use Hot not more than 60 degrees in a short time to help melt it. - But if you don't want to use heat to melt. It may take a long time to process and use Glabridin 40% at not high concentration - must be dissolved Glabridin 40% in Butylene Glycol until a clear yellow liquid. because if not completely dissolved It will become sediment in the recipe. Thank you very much.
