Why Carbomer cannot be used together with Phenylethyl Resorcinol? If the formula has Carbomer at the bottom, can it be mixed together, for example, cream imitating lancome+ Phenylethyl Resorcinol 1%?

Hi,
Carbomer will lose its thickening effect in a long term when there is Phenylethyl Resorcinol in the formulation.
It's fine if you have other thickener in the formulation that can stabilize the formulation. For example, we suggest to use Xanthan Gum to stabilize it.
