• Small particle size (e.g., Size A, around 30 microns) provides a natural sheen or is used for coverage.
• Medium particle size (e.g., Size B, around 60-70 microns) provides a more noticeable shimmer.
• Large particle size (e.g., Size C, D, around 150-350 microns) provides prominent glitter.

Examples of usable Mica Powders include:

• White Glitter Mica, white sparkle (size D)
• Silver Sparkle Mica (Size C, 160 Micron)
• Light Gold Pearl Mica (Size A, 30 Micron) (for fine shimmer)
• Bronze Gold Glitter Mica (Size B, 60 Micron) (for shimmer)
• Gold Glitter Mica (Size B, 60 Micron)
• Silver Super Sparkle Mica (Size D, 300 Micron)

Mica Powder disperses well in silicone and oil. The usage rate depends on the desired color intensity and sparkle (recommended 1-100%).

For making cosmetics long-lasting, you can add Film Formers. These create a thin film layer on the skin, helping the makeup adhere better and providing water resistance. There are various types of Film Formers depending on the formula's base (water or silicone/oil) and the desired level of longevity.

Examples of Film Formers for longevity:

• Comfort Film (Water Base): A water-soluble film that feels comfortable and non-sticky on the skin. Suitable for water-based formulas, helping creams or products stay on the skin longer.
• Silicone Film (Powder, Hard Film, Very Long-Wear) (Trimethylsiloxysilicate): A powder Film Former that creates a hard, very long-lasting, and waterproof film. Suitable for lip products but not recommended for foundations as it might cause discomfort. Disperses in silicone or oil.
• Silicone Film (Very Long-Wear, Hard, Cyclopentasiloxane Base): A Film Former dissolved in Cyclopentasiloxane. Creates a hard, extraordinarily long-lasting film. Suitable for foundations, concealers, or cushions requiring high longevity, although it might cause some skin discomfort. Disperses in silicone or oil.

When choosing a Film Former, consider the product type and desired properties such as skin feel, longevity level, and compatibility with other ingredients in the formula.
