Question

I am using a base formulation (e.g., Vegetable Glycerin 80%, Propylene Glycol 10%, Flavor 10%). I want to add a cooling sensation. Can I use CoolTouch™ or Lip Cool™ for this purpose, especially for oral application like e-liquid?

Answer

Flavor Product Inquiry

Regarding the "Flavor" product (ID 105), it provides only smell, not taste.

If you wish to add sweet or sour taste, you will need to add separate ingredients yourself, such as sugar or Citric Acid (ID 153).

For adding a cooling sensation, if the application involves the mouth (like e-liquid), you should use Lip Cool™ (ID 1007). CoolTouch™ (ID 1069) is intended for skin use only.

The formulation mentioned (Vegetable Glycerin 80%, Propylene Glycol 10%, Flavor 10%) is a common base for e-liquids, and the staff's response addresses adding taste and cooling agents suitable for oral use.
