I made a formula at 50% batch size with the following ingredients:

  • TiO2 liquid 3%
  • ZnO liquid 3%
  • isopropyl palmitate 2.5%
  • Dimethicone 5%
  • Cetyl Alcohol 0.5%
  • stearic acid 1.5%
  • Glyceryl Stearate 1.5%
  • Silicone Gel 10%
  • Triethanolamine 0.5%
  • Propylene Glycol 2%
  • glydent plus 0.5%
  • DI Water 18%

I tried making it, but the cream texture feels dry and hard to spread. What ingredients should I increase or decrease to make it more moisturizing and easier to spread?

Also, can I add Beige Iron Oxides EasyMix™ or foundation powder to this formula?
