Anti-Aging and Brightening Gel/Serum Formulation

Based on your goal to create a gel or serum for face and under-eyes targeting wrinkles, crow's feet, melasma, and freckles, and considering the staff's advice regarding your mixed/oily skin type and manual mixing method, I have formulated a recipe using a selection of the ingredients you provided. I have excluded the oils (Rose Hip Oil, Almond Oil) and Silky Serum Base Plus as they are not ideal for oily/mixed skin and require equipment you don't have. I've included AnyGel as recommended for manual mixing.

This formula combines key active ingredients known for their efficacy in addressing your concerns:

• Safe-B3™ (Niacinamide): Targets wrinkles, hyperpigmentation (melasma/freckles), and helps regulate oil.

• Ceramide Complex (Water/Oil Dispersible Powder): Helps restore the skin barrier.
• Snail Secretion: Known for its repairing, hydrating, and soothing properties.
• Phenoxyethanol (Extra Pure): Acts as a preservative.

Here is a suggested formula (total 100g):

• Water: 71g
• AnyGel™: 1.5g
• Safe-B3™ (Vitamin B3, Niacinamide): 5g
• Matrixyl 3000: 3g
• Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 (eq Argireline): 5g
• DMAE (SkinTight MD™) Liquid: 3g
• Double Hyaluron Liquid: 5g
• Ceramide Complex (Water/Oil Dispersible Powder): 1g
• Snail Secretion: 5g
• Phenoxyethanol (Extra Pure): 0.5g

Mixing Instructions (Manual Method):

1. Weigh the Water and AnyGel™ into a clean container. Add AnyGel™ to the water gradually while stirring continuously. Stir well until the AnyGel™ is completely dissolved and a smooth gel texture is formed. This may take some time with manual mixing.
2. In a separate small container, weigh the Ceramide Complex (Water/Oil Dispersible Powder). Add a small amount of hot water (around 70-80°C) or a small portion of the total water from the main batch that you heated separately. Stir vigorously to disperse the Ceramide Complex powder until it is homogeneous. Let this mixture cool slightly.
3. Add the dispersed Ceramide Complex mixture (from step 2) and the Safe-B3™ powder to the main gel base (from step 1). Stir thoroughly until both are fully dissolved and evenly incorporated.
4. Once the main mixture has cooled to below 40°C, add the remaining liquid ingredients: Matrixyl 3000, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, DMAE (SkinTight MD™) Liquid, Double Hyaluron Liquid, Snail Secretion, and Phenoxyethanol (Extra Pure).
5. Stir gently but thoroughly until all ingredients are completely mixed and the serum/gel is uniform.
6. Check the pH of the final product. The optimal pH range for the peptides and other actives in this formula is generally between 5.0 and 6.0. Adjust if necessary using a suitable pH adjuster.

Single vs. Separate Formulas:

The proposed formula is suitable for use on both the face and the under-eye area. The concentrations of the active ingredients are balanced to provide benefits for overall facial aging concerns (wrinkles, firmness, hyperpigmentation, hydration) while also addressing specific under-eye issues like crow's feet and hydration without being overly irritating for the delicate eye skin. Using a single formula simplifies the process and storage.

Remember to store the finished product properly, ideally in a cool place or refrigerator, especially due to the presence of peptides and Snail Secretion.
