Clear Liquid Massage Oil with High Water Content - Texture Issue

Question

How can I formulate a clear, liquid massage oil with a composition of 40% water and 60% oil? My current formula has a white/opaque texture (possibly due to wax), and I want to achieve a clear, liquid texture. Is this technically possible to achieve a stable, clear, liquid emulsion with this specific ratio?

Answer

Based on the technical information provided previously, it is not possible to create a clear, liquid massage oil with a composition of 40% water and 60% oil. Emulsifying such high percentages of both water and oil typically results in a milky or opaque product, or a thicker consistency like a lotion or cream, rather than a clear liquid. Achieving a stable, clear, liquid emulsion with this specific ratio is currently not technically feasible.
