Compatibility of Long-Lash (Copper Peptide) with Hada Labo and other ingredients

Question

I previously had an issue mixing the product "Long-Lash" with "Disodium EDTA". I understand that "Long-Lash" contains Copper Tripeptide-1 (Copper Peptide) which is incompatible with Chelating Agents like "Disodium EDTA" and also with AHAs. I want to mix "Long-Lash" with my "Hada Labo" product. The ingredients listed for my "Hada Labo" are Water, Butylene Glycol, and others, and it does not contain "Disodium EDTA". Is it acceptable to mix "Long-Lash" with this "Hada Labo" product?

Answer

Based on the information provided, mixing Long Lash with your Hada Labo should be fine. Long Lash contains Copper Tripeptide-1 (Copper Peptide), which is incompatible with Chelating Agents like Disodium EDTA and also with AHAs. You mentioned that your Hada Labo does not contain Disodium EDTA, and based on the ingredients you listed (Water, Butylene Glycol, and others), there are no apparent incompatibilities with Long Lash. The staff's response also confirmed that mixing with Water and Butylene Glycol is acceptable and highlighted the need to avoid Chelating Agents and AHAs.
