An oil-based formula is ideal for Perfect-C as it is oil-soluble and highly stable in this type of base, avoiding the stability issues often associated with water-based Vitamin C serums.

Here is a simple formulation:

Ingredients:

• Perfect-C (Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate): 5%
  • Function: Active ingredient for anti-aging, collagen stimulation, and skin brightening.
• Vitamin E (dl-alpha tocopherol): 1%
  • Function: Antioxidant to protect the oils and skin, complements Vitamin C's effects.
• Squalane (Olive): 94%
  • Function: Light, stable carrier oil that is easily absorbed and provides hydration.

Instructions:

1. Weigh out the Squalane (Olive) into a clean container.
2. Add the Perfect-C (Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate) to the Squalane.
3. Add the Vitamin E (dl-alpha tocopherol) to the mixture.
4. Stir gently until all ingredients are fully dissolved and the mixture is uniform. Perfect-C is an oil and should dissolve easily in Squalane. Avoid excessive heat or vigorous mixing which can introduce air.
5. Pour the serum into a clean, dark glass bottle with a dropper to protect it from light.

Usage: Apply a few drops to clean skin morning or night before heavier creams.
