Based on the discussion, if you are using oil to dissolve Activated Resorcinol™ (4-butyl Resorcinol) and are experiencing difficulty with a 1:1 ratio, the recommended technique is to increase the ratio of oil to Activated Resorcinol.

• Try using a ratio of 3 parts oil to 1 part Activated Resorcinol (3:1) or even 5 parts oil to 1 part Activated Resorcinol (5:1).
• Since Activated Resorcinol is typically used at a low concentration (around 1%) in formulations, increasing the oil content to 3-5% to help with dissolution is generally acceptable and should not cause issues in your final product.
