Question
I have two questions regarding Retinaldehyde:
- Can Retinaldehyde be dissolved without using heat, when mixing with both Flora Solve and LipidSoft?
- Is the 120ml brown plastic pump bottle from your website sufficient for storing Retinaldehyde?
Answer
Regarding dissolving Retinaldehyde without heat, the staff confirms that heat (50-60°C briefly while stirring) is necessary for it to dissolve properly. Without heat, Retinaldehyde may remain as powder and not be absorbed by the skin.
For storage in the 120ml brown plastic pump bottle, it is suitable, but it is recommended to add UV/OX protectors like Protec™ UV and Protec™ OX to the formula. This is because even in a brown bottle, light can still affect Retinaldehyde, and these ingredients help protect it from UV light.
