Foot Cream Formulation for Odor Reduction

To create a foot cream that helps reduce or eliminate odor, you can use a cream base and incorporate active ingredients known for their deodorizing properties.

Here is a suggested approach:

1. Choose a Cream Base: Start with a suitable cream base. An option is the Antiperspirant / Deodorant Base Cream, which is designed for deodorant formulations and has a light, quick-drying texture. Use this base at a rate of 85-90% of the total formula.

2. Add Deodorizing Active(s): Incorporate one or more ingredients effective against foot odor.

   • DeoMax™ Liquid: Derived from fruit tannin, it is effective against various body odors, including foot odor. It can be used at a rate of 1-3% (recommended 1%).
   • LipidSoft™ Deo: This emollient inhibits the bacteria that cause body odor without killing them. It can be used at a rate of 1-5%.
   • Odor-Kill DO™: This ingredient acts as a preservative and is also effective against odor-causing bacteria. It can be used at 0.1-1.0% and also provides an emollient feel.

Example Simple Formulation Concept:

• Antiperspirant / Deodorant Base Cream: 85-90%
• DeoMax™ Liquid or LipidSoft™ Deo: 1-5%
• Other desired ingredients (e.g., moisturizers, fragrances - note that Odor-Kill™ can absorb fragrance): q.s. to 100%
