Fragrant Spa Milk Bath Formulation

To create a fragrant spa milk bath that turns white like milk when added to water, the key component is an emulsifier. This ingredient helps oil and water to mix together effectively.

The main ingredients you will need are:

1. Oil: You can use various skin-nourishing oils such as Mineral Oil (available in Light and Heavy grades) or other natural oils. The oil helps to soften and moisturize the skin.
2. Fragrance Oil: Choose your favorite scent, such as Strawberry, Jasmine, Lavender, or any other desired fragrance.
3. Emulsifier: This is essential for dispersing the oil and fragrance in water and creating the milky appearance when added to the bathwater. A popular emulsifier that is soluble in both oil and water is Polysorbate 80 (available in regular grade and Super-Refined grade like HiPure™ PS80).

How it Works:

By mixing the oil and fragrance oil with Polysorbate 80 in a suitable ratio (typically Polysorbate 80 is used at about 1-20% of the total mixture), the Polysorbate 80 encapsulates the oil molecules. When this mixture is poured into water, the oil molecules coated with Polysorbate 80 disperse throughout the water, causing it to turn cloudy white, similar to milk.
