Gelling Agents for Gel Balm Formulation

For creating a gel balm formulation, which is typically oil-based, you can choose gelling agents based on the desired texture:

• For a soft gel texture: It is recommended to use Oil Thick™ Soft. This ingredient helps create an oil gel with a soft texture.
• For a hard and clear gel texture: It is recommended to use a combination of Oil Stick™ Medium and Oil Stick™ Hard. Using these two together will result in a hard and clear gel texture.

These gelling agents are suitable for formulations that are entirely oil-based. If your formula contains water, please inform us to consider other suitable gelling agents.
