Gentle Shower Gel Base Formulation

This formulation uses a pre-made gel base designed to incorporate fragrances, which works well for essential oils too.

Ingredients:

• Base gel, air -conditioned perfume (clear texture): 1.5%
• Glycerin: 3%
• Mild Preserved Eco (preservative): 1%
• Water: 85.5%
• Your chosen Essential Oil: 0.5 - 1% (adjust based on the specific oil and desired intensity, do not exceed safe usage rates)
• Flora Solve Clear (or a similar solubilizer): 2 - 8% (Use enough to fully dissolve the essential oil)

Instructions:

1. Prepare Part A: In a heat-resistant container, combine the Base gel, air -conditioned perfume (clear texture), Glycerin, Mild Preserved Eco, and Water.
2. Heat the mixture to 80°C and stir until the gel base is completely dissolved and the mixture is clear. Allow to cool slightly.
3. Prepare Part B: In a separate small container, mix your chosen Essential Oil with Flora Solve Clear. Stir well until the essential oil is completely dissolved and the mixture is clear. The amount of Flora Solve Clear needed will depend on the specific essential oil; start with a 2:1 ratio of solubilizer to essential oil and increase if needed until clear.
4. Once Part A has cooled but is still liquid and clear, slowly add Part B to Part A while stirring gently. Continue stirring until everything is uniformly combined and the gel is clear.
5. Pour into your desired container.

Important Note: Always research the safe usage rate for the specific essential oil you choose for bath and body products. Start with a low percentage and adjust as needed.
