Hand-Mixable Anti-Aging & Moisturizing Serum Formulation

Here is a proposed formulation for a concentrated, clear liquid anti-aging and moisturizing serum for mature skin, designed for hand mixing.

Based on your ingredients and the staff's recommendation for hand-mixable bases, we will use Pro Polymer as the gel-forming base, which is suitable for creating a clear serum without a blender.

• Water: 61% (Base)
• Pro Polymer (ID 234): 1% (Hand-mixable gel maker)
• Sodium PCA (ID 156): 5% (Highly effective humectant for hydration)
• Natto Gum (ID 403): 3% (Natural humectant and film-former for moisture and smooth feel)
• Hydro Gel (Biosaccharide Gum-1) (ID 481): 5% (Moisturizing, soothing, and skin-conditioning)
• Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 (Argireline) (ID 45): 10% (Peptide targeting expression wrinkles)
• Repair Activator (Bifida Ferment Lysate) (ID 259): 10% (Supports skin's natural repair process, anti-aging)
• DMAE (ID 637): 3% (Helps improve skin firmness and tone)
• Active Resveratrol™ (ID 62): 1% (Potent antioxidant with anti-aging properties)
• Phenoxyethanol SA (Optiphen Plus) (ID 928): 1% (Broad-spectrum preservative to protect the formula)

Mixing Instructions (Hand Mixing)

1. Weigh the Water into a clean container.
2. Slowly sprinkle the Pro Polymer powder onto the surface of the water while stirring continuously by hand. Continue stirring until the Pro Polymer is fully dispersed and a smooth gel forms. This may require patient and consistent stirring.
3. In a separate small container, weigh the remaining ingredients: Sodium PCA, Natto Gum, Hydro Gel, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Repair Activator, DMAE, Active Resveratrol™, and Phenoxyethanol SA. Stir them together briefly.
4. Add this mixture of active ingredients and preservative to the Pro Polymer gel base.
5. Stir thoroughly by hand until all ingredients are completely dissolved and the serum is clear and homogenous. Ensure no powder particles remain.
6. Pour the finished serum into a clean bottle or container.

Important Notes:

• As the staff mentioned, ensuring your skin is well-moisturized is crucial before using concentrated anti-aging ingredients. This formulation includes several excellent moisturizers.
• Always perform a patch test on a small area of skin before applying the serum to your face.
• Store the serum in a cool, dark place.

This formulation is designed to be potent. You can adjust the percentages of active ingredients down if desired, replacing the difference with Water, especially if your skin is sensitive.
