This recipe aims for approximately 70% alcohol content by weight, which is effective for killing germs.

Ingredients (by weight):

• Ethyl Alcohol (99.9%): 70 grams
• Purified Water (or distilled water): 27 grams
• Satin Cream Maker™: 1 gram (adjust for desired thickness)
• Aloe Vera Extract 10:1: 2 grams

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Gel Base: Weigh the purified water into a clean container. Slowly sprinkle the Satin Cream Maker™ powder onto the surface of the water. Let it sit for a few minutes to hydrate, then stir gently until the powder is fully dispersed and the mixture starts to thicken into a gel. Avoid mixing at high speeds (above 2500 rpm) as this can damage the thickener.
2. Add Aloe Vera: Add the Aloe Vera Extract 10:1 to the thickened water base. Stir gently until it is uniformly mixed. Note that Aloe Vera Extract is an electrolyte and might slightly reduce the viscosity of the gel.
3. Add Alcohol: In a separate container, weigh the Ethyl Alcohol (99.9%). Slowly add the alcohol to the gel base while stirring gently. Continue stirring until you have a uniform, clear gel.
4. Packaging: Carefully pour the finished hand sanitizer gel into clean bottles.
