I have some questions regarding L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) powder:

  1. The sediment from L-Ascorbic Acid powder cannot be dissolved. The sediment from an old bottle dried out, and I transferred it to a new bottle and stored it in the refrigerator. It turned into white crystals that won't dissolve even after shaking. Why is this happening?
  2. The new batch of L-Ascorbic Acid powder has a different smell than before.
