Manufacturing Process

1. In a suitable container, combine the Water and EasyThick. Mix well until the thickener is fully dispersed and the mixture starts to thicken.
2. Add N70 and Cocamidopropyl Betaine to the thickened water phase. Mix gently to incorporate without creating excessive foam.
3. Add Glycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Sugar Fix, and Fragrance. Mix until homogeneous.
4. Gradually add Sodium Chloride while mixing. Continue mixing until the desired viscosity is achieved. The amount listed (2.5%) is a starting point; you may need slightly more or less depending on the specific N70 and desired thickness.
5. Prepare a solution of Citric Acid in a small amount of water. Slowly add this solution to the body wash mixture while monitoring the pH. Adjust the pH down to approximately 4.0. This is crucial for the Lactic Acid to be effective for exfoliation.
6. Once the pH is around 4.0, add the Lactic Acid and mix thoroughly.

• Conditioning: If you desire a more conditioning feel, you could explore other conditioning agents compatible with low pH systems, as GuarCat might not be ideal solely for thickening at pH 4, as noted by the staff. However, for a basic, low-cost body wash, the current formula should be sufficient.
