Base Ingredients:

• Isododecane: 39%
• Hectorite Oil Gel: 7.50%
• Natural White Beeswax: 7.50%
• SiliSolve Plus: 0.50%
• Silicone Blender: 4%
• Silicone Gel: 13%

Foundation Ingredients:

• Silk Talc Powder: 7.50%
• MatteSilica: 2%
• FD&C Red No.40 Lake EasyMix™: 4%
• Silk Mica Powder: 15%

Ingredient Functions:

• Isododecane: Acts as a lightweight solvent and carrier that evaporates quickly, preventing a sticky feel.
• Hectorite Oil Gel: This is a key gelling agent for the oil phase, crucial for suspending pigments evenly and creating the matte, thixotropic texture (liquid when applied, thickens when still).
• Natural White Beeswax: Provides thickening and contributes to the overall texture and feel of the lip gloss.

Mixing Instructions:

1. Combine the Base ingredients (Isododecane, Hectorite Oil Gel, Natural White Beeswax, SiliSolve Plus, Silicone Blender, Silicone Gel).
2. Heat the mixture to approximately 80°C and stir or blend until all ingredients are dissolved and the mixture is homogeneous.
3. Gradually add each of the Foundation powders (Silk Talc Powder, MatteSilica, FD&C Red No.40 Lake EasyMix™, Silk Mica Powder) to the hot base mixture, blending well after each addition until fully dispersed.
4. Turn off the heat and continue stirring or blending at a low speed while the mixture cools down to ensure a consistent texture.

Customization Tips:

• Color: You can change the color by using other Lake Easymix pigments. To lighten the color, add White Oxides EasyMix™.
• Thickness: To adjust the thickness, you can increase or decrease the amounts of Hectorite Oil Gel and Natural White Beeswax.
• Shine: If you prefer a slightly less matte or more glossy finish, you can add Squalene. Start by replacing about 2% of the Isododecane with Squalene and adjust as needed.
