Hair Growth Serum Formulation

To create a serum for hair growth, you can use Melatonin as a key ingredient. Based on research, Melatonin has shown potential in stimulating hair growth and reducing hair loss.

We offer two forms of Melatonin suitable for this purpose:

• Pure-Melatonin™ (Odorless, White Powder): This is pure Melatonin powder. It is soluble in some oils and glycols (like ethoxydiglycol, 1,3-Propanediol). The recommended usage rate is 0.1-3%. It should be mixed into the formula in the final step, avoiding prolonged exposure to air. The formula pH should be in the range of 4-10, and avoid heat.
• Melatonin Forte™: This is a water-soluble form of Melatonin (minimum 10% concentration). It is a clear, oily, yellow liquid that can be dispersed in oil and dissolved in water. The recommended usage rate is 1% (should not exceed 1%). Like Pure-Melatonin, it should be mixed in the final step, avoiding prolonged air exposure. The formula pH must be in the range of 4-10.

Important Considerations:

• Melatonin is sensitive to air and can deteriorate upon continuous exposure. Finished products should be packaged in air-protected containers, such as vacuum tubes. Avoid packaging in jars where the formula is constantly exposed to air.
• Store both forms of Melatonin in a refrigerator at 5-10 degrees Celsius, away from sunlight, heat, and air. Keep the lid tightly sealed.

Choose the form of Melatonin that best suits your serum formulation (powder for oil/glycol-based or liquid for water-based/dispersible formulas). Always adhere to the recommended usage rates and mixing instructions for optimal results and stability.
