Question

Can perfume be mixed with Glycerin or Olive Oil? If so, what is the recommended ratio?

Answer

Hello,

Regarding your question about using Glycerin or Olive Oil to mix with perfume, we have checked the information and would like to inform you as follows:

Based on the information from our team:

  • Most perfumes cannot be mixed with Glycerin.
  • Most perfumes can be mixed with various oils, including Olive Oil.

However, this information is only a general principle. It does not mean that every type of perfume will or will not be compatible with these ingredients, as each perfume has a variety of chemical components, each with different solubility or compatibility characteristics.

Therefore, we cannot definitively say whether the 'brand name' perfume you have can be mixed with Glycerin or Olive Oil, and we cannot provide a specific ratio. For the best results and compatibility with the perfume, we recommend using a dedicated perfume base.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask.
