Yes, it is generally recommended to include other moisturizing agents in addition to Aloe Vera Extract when making alcohol gel. While Aloe Vera Extract has moisturizing properties, the high concentration of alcohol in hand gels can be very drying to the skin. Adding other humectants such as Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Panthenol, or Sodium PCA can help to further counteract the drying effect of alcohol and keep the skin hydrated and comfortable, especially with frequent use. Therefore, using Aloe Vera Extract together with other Humectants will help the alcohol gel have better skin care properties.
