Natural Eyebrow Gel Formulation

Here is a basic guideline for creating a natural eyebrow gel. This formula uses Xanthan Gum as a natural gelling agent to create the desired gel texture.

Ingredients:

• Water: Approximately 98-99% (Distilled or purified water is recommended)
• Xanthan Gum: 0.5-1% (Adjust based on desired gel thickness. You can use either Xanthan Gum (clear gel type, normal texture, 200 Mesh) or Xanthan Gum (clear gel type, normal texture, 80 Mesh))
• Natural Preservative: 0.5-1% (Essential for water-based products to prevent microbial growth. Choose a suitable natural preservative system.)
• (Optional) Natural Colorant: A small amount of natural pigment suitable for cosmetics to achieve the desired eyebrow color.

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Water Phase: Measure out the water in a clean container.
2. Disperse Xanthan Gum: Slowly sprinkle the Xanthan Gum into the water while stirring vigorously. It is important to disperse it well to prevent clumping. You can use a mini-mixer or whisk for this. Continue stirring until the Xanthan Gum is fully hydrated and a smooth gel forms. This may take some time.
3. Add Preservative: Once the gel is smooth and uniform, add the natural preservative at the recommended usage rate and stir to combine.
4. Add Colorant (Optional): If using a colorant, add a small amount and mix thoroughly until the desired color is achieved and evenly distributed.
5. Final Check: Ensure all ingredients are well mixed and the gel has a consistent texture.
6. Packaging: Transfer the finished gel into a clean, airtight container, such as a small jar or tube with a brush applicator.

Notes:

• Always use clean and sterilized equipment to prevent contamination.
• Start with a small batch to test the consistency and make adjustments as needed.
• Store the finished product in a cool, dark place.
• Other natural thickeners like Acacia Gum (Gum Arabic) or AnyGel™ can also be explored as alternatives to Xanthan Gum, each offering slightly different textures and properties.

This is a basic formula and can be further customized with other natural ingredients like botanical extracts for added benefits, ensuring compatibility with the gel base and preservative system.
