Pearlizer for Cloudy White or Pearly Shampoo

To achieve a cloudy white or pearly texture in shampoo, you can use ingredients called Pearlizers.

There are two suitable products you can use:

• emulPearl™ (Pearlizer, Dispersed Liquid): This is a dispersed liquid form, easy to use, and suitable for liquid products like shampoo or facial cleanser. It helps create a pearly and lustrous appearance in the product texture.
  • How to Use: Mix into the oil phase or emulsifier/detergent phase.
  • Usage Rate: 2-10%
• emulPearl™ (Pearlizer, Flakes/Pellets): This is in flake or pellet form and also creates a pearly and lustrous effect. However, it requires heat to dissolve.
  • How to Use: Mix into the oil phase or emulsifier/detergent phase using heat around 60-80°C to help it dissolve well.
  • Usage Rate: 0.5-3% (adjust according to the desired level of gloss)

For shampoo, which is a liquid product, emulPearl™ (Pearlizer, Dispersed Liquid) is generally more convenient to use.
