Question
I have several questions regarding your products:
- Does
Complex Salicylic Acid (Powder, Water-Soluble)require an acidic environment to be effective? - Can
Encapsulated Retinol (65K.IU/g)provide the same expected results as other forms of Retinol, such as acne reduction, wrinkle reduction, and collagen stimulation? - Will
Active Resorcinol-SandWillow Barkbe available for sale again? - Are there plans to sell dietary supplement powders in the future?
Answer
Regarding your questions:
- Complex Salicylic Acid (Powder, Water-Soluble): According to the staff reply, all types of BHA, including this product, can help dissolve clogged pores without requiring an acidic environment.
- Encapsulated Retinol (65K.IU/g): If you are comparing it to other forms of Retinol itself, then yes, you can expect similar results regarding acne reduction, wrinkle reduction, and collagen stimulation. However, if you are comparing it to other forms of Vitamin A such as Retinyl Palmitate or Retinaldehyde, the expected results will differ because each form of Vitamin A is absorbed differently by the skin.
- Active Resorcinol-S and Willow Bark: These products are currently available but are not sold on the website. If you have a purchase history, you can order them through customer service at care@myskinrecipes.com. The manufacturer plans to stop production in December 2019, but the company will stock these items until mid-2020.
- Dietary Supplement Powders: There are future plans to sell dietary supplement powders, but the sales will be controlled. Buyers will need to provide certification (as a legal entity or an individual with sufficient knowledge) to ensure correct usage and prevent misuse, as misuse of supplements can potentially harm the body, unlike external cosmetics where the risk is generally limited to skin irritation.
