Serum Formulation: Fast Absorption, Non-Sticky, Anti-Pilling

Question

I am developing a serum formula for contract manufacturing and want it to be easy to spread, absorb quickly, feel non-sticky, and not cause pilling when a general moisturizer is applied on top. I have a list of ingredients and suspect I might have included too many or redundant ones. Could you please review my ingredient list (provided in the image) and advise if any ingredients have similar functions, can be removed, reduced, or adjusted to achieve the desired texture and prevent pilling?

Answer

Hello! I understand you are looking for advice on formulating a serum for contract manufacturing. You want a serum that is easy to spread, absorbs quickly, feels non-sticky, and layers well with a general moisturizer without causing pilling.

However, I cannot see the image you attached containing the list of ingredients.

Could you please type out the full list of ingredients from the image for me?

Once I have the ingredient list, I can provide specific feedback on the formulation, including the function of each ingredient, identify any potential overlaps, and suggest which ingredients might be redundant or could be adjusted (removed, reduced, or substituted) to achieve the desired texture and performance, as well as help reduce the chance of pilling.
