Sharing Perfume Mixing Experience and Formulas using Bescents A-Z
Question
Based on learning to mix perfumes using Bescents A-Z fragrance oils and a website calculator for quantities (in drops), I'd like to share my experience and the formulas for three successful scents I created:
Oriental Balsam Vanilla: Descriptions: Feminine Oriental Balsam Wood Civet Vanilla Spice Citrus Green. TOP NOTE | C-10, G-2. MIDDLE NOTE | I-5, J-20, Q-20, R-2. BASE NOTE | S-3, V-12, W-15, X-10, Y-1. Note: Used a tutorial formula, resulted in a baby powder scent after the top notes.
Baby's skin: Descriptions: Powdery Baby's head Orris Floral Aldehyde Almond Soapy Linen Milk Thyme. TOP | A-15, B-3, D-9, E-2. MID | I-8, J-2, L-2, M-4, P-2, Q-2, R-5. BASE | U-1, V-5, W-4, X-31, Y,4. Note: Used Fat milk scent for D, smells like milk tablets, opens with coolness, followed by sweet milk and powder.
Silver mountain: Descriptions: Fresh Smoke and ash Leathery Woody Animalic. TOP | B-29, C-11, G-3, D-1. MID | I-4, K-1, L-7, O-3, P-2, Q-2. BASE | S-1, T-6, U-14, W-17, Y-3.
After mixing the fragrance oils (over 2ml) and adding 99% alcohol and DPG to a total of 10ml, the concentration is Eau de parfum. I'm sharing these impressive results.
