Solubility of Ferulic Acid in Glycerin

Ferulic Acid cannot be dissolved in Glycerin. According to the information for Pure-Ferulic Acid™, it is soluble only in Ethoxydiglycol or Ethanol and is not soluble in water.

Adding Essential Oils to DMAE Formula

For the example DMAE (SkinTight MD™) Liquid formula on the website, you can add essential oils. They should be added in the final step of mixing, after the formula temperature is below 40°C. However, if your DMAE formula is primarily water-based, adding essential oils (which are oils) may cause separation. It is recommended to use a Solubilizer to help disperse the essential oil properly in a water-based formula.
