Answer
Solubility of Ingredients in Oil
Regarding your question about making a face and body oil using Grape Seed Oil and whether the ingredients you listed can dissolve in oil:
Based on the product information, most of the ingredients you mentioned are water-soluble and will not dissolve directly in oil like Grape Seed Oil. These include:
- Cucumber Extract
- Tomato Extract (based on the available Tomato Natural Water Soluble Color)
- Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide)
- Vitamin B5 (Panthenol)
- DMAE
- Pep-Coll
As the previous reply mentioned, water-soluble ingredients need to be dissolved in water. To incorporate them into an oil base, you would typically need to create an emulsion (like a lotion or cream) using an emulsifier to combine the water and oil phases.
However, some forms of Vitamin E, such as Vitamin E (Tocopheryl Acetate) and Vitamin E (dl-alpha tocopherol), are oil-soluble and can be added directly to your Grape Seed Oil formulation.
If you want to use the water-soluble ingredients, consider formulating a lotion or cream instead of a pure oil.
