Storage Conditions for Active Ingredients
Question
I have ordered many active ingredients. Except for those specified not to be refrigerated or kept at room temperature, should all of them be stored in the refrigerator?
For example, some types specify storing away from heat and light. Should these be kept at normal room temperature away from light, or is it better to refrigerate them?
Answer
Based on the tools I have, I cannot give a general rule about storing all active ingredients. Storage requirements can be very different depending on the specific ingredient. It's always best to follow the storage instructions provided for each individual product you purchase. If an ingredient says to avoid heat and light, storing it at room temperature in a dark place might be sufficient, but refrigeration might offer better stability for some ingredients. However, without knowing the specific ingredient, I cannot say for sure.
Therefore, I recommend checking the specific instructions for each active ingredient you have.
