Suitability of CycloSorb™ Cream in Body Mist Spray
Question
I mistakenly ordered CycloSorb™ Cream (Non Water-Soluble). Can this product be used as a partial substitute for a clear water-soluble ingredient (like CycloSorb™ Clear) in a body mist spray formulation that requires shaking before use?
Answer
CycloSorb™ Cream (Non Water-Soluble) in Body Mist Spray
Regarding your question about using CycloSorb™ Cream (Non Water-Soluble) as a partial substitute for a clear water-soluble product in a body mist spray that requires shaking:
Unfortunately, CycloSorb™ Cream (Non Water-Soluble) is not suitable for use in body mist sprays, even if the product is shaken before use. This is because the product is specifically designed to be insoluble in water. While it can disperse, it will not dissolve, leading to separation and an unstable formulation in a water-based mist.
For formulations that require dissolution in water, such as body mists, we recommend using the water-soluble version, CycloSorb™ Clear. CycloSorb™ Cream (Non Water-Soluble) is best suited for formulas where dissolution is not required, such as creams, serums, or roll-on deodorants.
