Regarding the texture, Sweet Almond Oil is lighter than regular coconut oil (that has not undergone processing).

Regarding organic sunscreens that can be mixed with almond oil, there are no sunscreens that are "organic" in the sense of coming from plants. Sunscreen ingredients fall into two main groups:

• Chemical sunscreens: These are synthesized chemicals and can be called "organic" in the chemical sense (containing C, H, O), not meaning they come from plants.
• Physical sunscreens: These are mineral oxides like Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide.

The type of sunscreen that can dissolve directly into oils like Almond Oil is chemical sunscreen. Physical sunscreens are powders that disperse within a formulation.
