Using Essential Oils

Essential oils are highly concentrated and should never be applied directly to the skin or mixed into products without prior dilution.

• Mixing into ready-made products (Shower Cream, Lotion, Shampoo): This can be done, but you must first dilute the essential oil in a Carrier Oil such as Sweet Almond Oil, Grapeseed Oil, or Jojoba Oil at an appropriate ratio (generally 0.5% - 2% for skin application). Then, you can add the diluted mixture to your ready-made product. Mixing essential oil directly might not disperse well in the product and could alter its texture.

• Applying directly to the skin: Absolutely do not apply directly. Due to their high concentration, essential oils can cause irritation, burning, or allergic reactions. If you want to use essential oils on your skin, always dilute them in a carrier oil at a safe ratio first, and it's recommended to perform a patch test on a small area of skin before full application.

The correct and safe way to use essential oils is always to dilute them at an appropriate ratio.
