Question
I have questions regarding the use of a water distiller:
- Can this machine be used with regular filtered tap water at home, or does it require drinking water with a TDS value not exceeding 20ppm?
- After distillation is complete, the lid must be opened to retrieve the distilled water for use, causing the distilled water to come into contact with CO2 in the air. Is the water still usable?
Answer
Based on the staff's response:
- The water distiller can use regular tap water. It is not necessary to use pure water or water with a TDS value not exceeding 20ppm.
- The distilled water produced is still usable even after being exposed to air (CO2) when opening the machine lid. It is practically unavoidable for the water to come into contact with outside air during the mixing process.
