Isohexadecane is an ultra-lightweight Emollient. It does not leave a greasy residue on the skin. Does not clog pores. And is completely soluble in silicones, hydrocarbons, isoparaffin, insoluble in water. Suitable as a substitute for oil in oil-free formulations that require extra lightness. And prevent a greasy feeling on the skin Including protection against water (water-repellent)
Isohexadecane is different from Isododecane Is Isododecane Can evaporate, but Isohexadecane Can not evaporate at room temperature, which makes Isododecane Is more light But it is not suitable for use in formulations that do not want evaporation.
