Selection of different film types:

Film-forming substances are divided into 3 groups.

1. Group Trimethylsiloxysilicate which is a film-forming substance from silicone The resulting film will be hard but long lasting.

1.1 The powder type is Silicone Film (Trimethylsiloxysilicate Powder)

1.2 The liquid type dissolved in Isododecane is Silicone Film (Long-Wear, Hard, Isododecane Base)

1.3 Liquid type dissolved in Cyclomethicone is Silicone Film (Long-Wear, Hard, Cyclomethicone Base)

The powder type is more difficult to use than the liquid type. but has a lower price and can be used both in formulations whose main component is Isododecane and in formulas whose main component is Any Cyclomethicone/Silicone

2. Soft Silicone Film Group Provides a soft, natural film texture, but not as long-lasting as a group. Trimethylsiloxysilicate Suitable for use in makeup products. that the film must be soft to the skin naturally, such as any type of Liquid Makeup or sunscreen products To be able to withstand and waterproof, sweatproof

3. Oil Film Group Provides a durable film and can be softened by the skin But using it in high quantity causes stickiness on the skin. Suitable for those who want to avoid Don't want silicone in the formula.

4. Vinyl Film Group Provides a durable film can soften the skin And has a special feature that helps spread and capture pigments in the formula. This makes it suitable for use in color cosmetics formulas such as lip glosses and lipsticks. Because in addition to helping to last longer, it also helps to make the color smoother. The disadvantage is that it cannot dry completely like other film types.

5. IPDI Copolymer Group  Provides a light and non-hard film Able to soft curve according to the skin, inexpensive, and provides moderately long-lasting performance. Suitable for formulas that apply all over the skin such as sunscreen, BB / CC Cream.

- If the formula has a main component of silicone, please use it. Silicone Film (Trimethylsiloxysilicate Powder) or  Silicone Film (Long-Wear, Hard, Cyclomethicone Base)

- If the formula contains Isododecane or Isohexadecane Please use Silicone Film (Trimethylsiloxysilicate Powder) or  Silicone Film (Long-Wear, Hard, Isododecane Base)

- If you want a softer texture, please select Silicone Film (Medium-Wear, Soft)

- If you want to avoid using silicone, please select Oil Film (Long-Wear)

- If you want to create a film with good pigment dispersion, use Vinyl Film (Medium Wear, Soft)

- Sunscreen formulas for waterproof/sweat proof or make-up applied all over the skin (eg BB/CC) should be used. Polyester / Dimethicone / IPDI Copolymer

If it is found that the oil layer is separated from the lip texture, use it. Oil-Fix 1% more into the formula

Use: Can be used in any make-up product formulated with silicone or Isododecane. /Isohexadecane  It is the main component in the formula distribution.

Mixing method: Mix in the silicone part or Isododecane/Isohexadecane. can withstand heat

Usage rate: 1-30% (choose at the desired longevity level)
