In social media it is often advised to avoid using cosmetics containing PEG, a synthetic chemical derived from petroleum, such as PEG 40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil is a Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) derivative of castor oil confused that PEG 40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil 1. What kind of raw material is it made from? Or have both petrochemicals and castor oil. 2.PEG is dangerous if it is present in cosmetics. 3. Is there any substance that can be used instead? If you want to avoid PEG, thank you.

Hello, PEG comes from synthetic. Some of the source comes from petrochemicals. At present, it's just a concern, but the FDA is still accepting all over the world. It is a safe substance that is used in food, medicine, and cosmetics all over the world.
