Re: Advice on how to improve cream formulation

Please answer as far as you know.
1. Increase the amount of Satin Cream Maker ™, it may be increased to 3-5%, if it is too thick, reduce the amount to get the desired texture.
2. Try to notice that the substance used is red. As far as I can see roughly from the formula, it seems to be Astaxanthin , try reducing the amount to 0.1-0.3%.

Ask to adjust the pH in the recipe.

Here are some questions about pH adjustment:

1. To put a buffer to adjust the product pH and want the pH of the product to be Stable, do I have to add both acid and salt of the acid? For example, put both Citric Acid - Sodium citrate or add only Sodium Citate if adding both. Approximately what is the ratio?

2. I would like to know if the product has reached the desired final pH such as pH 5.5, is it necessary to add a buffer such as sodium citrate or HEPES again? (out of the pH range of 5.5)

3. What step should I put buffer in? For example, put in the last step. Enter steps after adding Active, etc.

4. Do cosmetics need to contain buffers in every formula?

thank you

Ask about adjusting the acid - alkalinity.

Hello, I'm currently working on a toner formula. When I measure the pH, it's very acidic. So I want to know how to adjust the acid-base that can be used. Triethanolamine or can use Sodium Hydroxide if using Sodium Hydroxide is the solubility to water ratio?

Ask about the water used to produce cosmetics.

I want to know that the factor that affects the viscosity of cosmetics is water ion or pH of water. Is each type of water used to produce different viscosity of the product? I can't find the information. If there is a paper or keyword, I want to find more information, read more. Thank you.
