Achieving a Smooth Gel with Pro Polymer

It sounds like the Pro Polymer has not fully dissolved or hydrated, which is why you are seeing small lumps in your gel mixture.

To achieve a smooth texture, you should continue to mix or stir the gel until the lumps disappear and the mixture is uniform. You don't need to worry about over-mixing and making the gel too thin, as long as you are mixing at a reasonable speed (below 2000 RPM). Continued mixing at these speeds will actually help the Pro Polymer dissolve completely and allow the gel to thicken properly.

If your formula allows and the ingredients are heat-stable, gently warming the mixture to 50-60°C while stirring can also help the Pro Polymer dissolve more easily and result in a smoother gel.

In some cases, especially if the Pro Polymer may have been exposed to moisture or if lumps are persistent, allowing the mixture to sit for a period (like 1 day) after initial mixing can help the polymer fully absorb water before final blending. Avoid blending at very high speeds (above 2500 RPM) as this can damage the polymer structure.

Keep mixing until you achieve the desired smooth consistency.
