Regarding the percentages for your acne gel formula, based on the previous staff response:

• Salicylic Acid (BHA): The staff advised that the standard Salicylic Acid (ID 148) will not dissolve in this formula. They recommended using Salicylic Acid EZ (ID 766) instead, which is water-soluble. The recommended usage rate for Salicylic Acid EZ is 5% for mild acne and 10% for severe acne.
• Hyaluronic Acid (STD) (ID 404): While Hyaluronic Acid is a good moisturizer, the staff advised against using it as the primary gel thickener. Using enough to create a gel consistency would require a high percentage, potentially resulting in a sticky texture. They recommended using a dedicated gel thickener like Pro Polymer (ID 234) instead.
• Sulfanilamide and Tannin: The staff clearly stated that these two ingredients are drugs and are not permitted for use in cosmetics. Their use should only be under the supervision of a doctor or pharmacist.
