  • Cetyl Alcohol
  • Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate
  • Glyceryl Stearate SE
  • Cetostearyl alcohol
  • Triethanolamine
  • Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Extract

  • Fragrance
  • Withania Somnifera (Ashwagandha) Root Extract
  • Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola) Extract
  • Methylparaben
  • Propylparaben
  • BHT
  • Disodium EDTA

Can I add Copper Peptide (GHK-Cu), Ectoine (Ectoin), Madecassoside-80, and Safe-B3™ (Vitamin B3, Niacinamide) to it?

Answer

In general, it is not recommended to add additional ingredients to an existing finished cream product. This is because finished products are specifically formulated to ensure that all ingredients are compatible, stable, and effective as intended. Adding other ingredients can lead to:

  • Loss of Formula Stability: The cream may separate, change texture, or some ingredients may degrade.
  • Reduced Efficacy: The added ingredients may not work effectively, or they might react negatively with the original ingredients in the cream.
  • Reduced Safety: There is a higher risk of skin irritation, sensitization, or even microbial contamination if the existing preservative system in the cream is not sufficient for the added ingredients.

Therefore, for optimal effectiveness and safety, it is recommended to choose cream products that are already formulated and manufactured with Copper Peptide, Ectoine, Madecassoside, and Niacinamide.
