Adding Apple Phloretin to Vitamin C Serum Formula

Regarding the addition of Apple Phloretin to your Vitamin C Serum formula, since Apple Phloretin is oil-soluble, it should be added to ingredient Group B, which contains components that help dissolve and emulsify oil with water.

The steps for incorporating Apple Phloretin are as follows:

1. Prepare ingredient Groups A, C, and D as usual.
2. Prepare ingredient Group B by mixing Ethoxydiglycol, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Laureth-23, and d-Alpha Tocopherol together. Then, add the Apple Phloretin to this Group B and mix well until incorporated.
3. Proceed to combine all groups according to the original formula's mixing instructions.

As discussed previously, adding Apple Phloretin may cause the serum to become cloudy. However, if the mixture does not separate, it can still be used as normal.
