Adding Ingredients to Formula: Effectiveness and Texture Concerns

Question

I have a question about adding ingredients to a formulation.

  1. Can I add Sym-White 0.5% and LipidSoft Lite to the formula? I believe adding just 0.5% might yield clearer results and provide nourishment from Safe-B3.
  2. If I also add Silybum Marianum Extract (Milk Thistle, Silymarin) to reduce skin sensitivity to UV light and Bisabolol as a penetration enhancer, would this make the formula too overloaded? Or do the existing ingredients already cover these functions, making additional ingredients unnecessary?

Answer

Hello,

Thank you for your additional questions. The staff has provided recommendations for your questions as follows:

  1. Adding Sym-White and LipidSoft Lite: The staff mentioned that it is possible, but the original recommended formula can also provide good results. The decision is up to you.
  2. Adding Silybum Marianum Extract and Bisabolol: The staff does not recommend adding these ingredients because the recommended formula already contains quite a variety of ingredients. Adding more ingredients might make the product texture sticky and uncomfortable to use, which is an important factor for user satisfaction. The ingredients in the original formula already cover the needs for skin nourishment and strengthening well.

In summary, the formula recommended by the staff has been considered based on your skin condition and needs, as well as aiming for a non-heavy texture. Adding other ingredients might make the formula more complex and affect the texture.

If you have any further questions, feel free to ask. We are always happy to advise.
