Question

I have a formulation containing Vitamin C MAP, Vitamin B3, Glucosamine, and Alpha Arbutin. Can I add Kojic Acid to this formulation?

Please provide the mixing equipment and procedure for this formulation.

Answer

Based on the staff's reply, you can add Kojic Acid to your formulation.

Here are the mixing steps provided:

  1. Add water.
  2. Heat to approximately 70-80°C.
  3. Add Kojic Acid and stir until dissolved.
  4. Add Vitamin C MAP.
  5. Add an acid (such as Citric Acid) to adjust the pH to around 6.5-7.0.
  6. Add Vitamin B3, Glucosamine, and Alpha Arbutin.

The staff also suggested adding Hyaluronic Acid Nano for moisture, unless your skin is already oily.

Regarding the equipment needed for mixing, the staff reply outlines the steps but does not specify the exact equipment. Typically, mixing formulations like this would involve standard laboratory equipment such as beakers, a stirring device (like a magnetic stirrer or glass rod), and a heating plate or water bath to reach the required temperature.
