I would like to incorporate the following active ingredients:
- PolyCap™ Ellagic (Water Dispersible Ellagic Acid 17%) at 3%
- Madecassoside (Centella Asiatica Extract (Madecassoside 90%)) at 1%
- Is the ANR Serum Base compatible with both PolyCap™ Ellagic (3%) and Madecassoside (1%)?
- If compatible, what is the correct mixing procedure, especially for the powder form of Madecassoside?
- Are there any other suitable pre-made serum bases you would recommend for this combination of actives?

Yes, you can add both PolyCap™ Ellagic and Madecassoside into the ANR Serum Base (Compare to Estee). The ANR Serum Base is a water-based liquid gel, which is highly compatible with both of these water-soluble/dispersible active ingredients.
Compatibility and Mixing Instructions
PolyCap™ Ellagic (Water Dispersible Ellagic Acid 17%)
- Compatibility: Excellent. This product is a water dispersion, meaning it is designed to mix easily and stably into water-based formulas like the ANR Serum Base.
- Mixing: Simply add the 3% PolyCap™ Ellagic directly to the ANR Serum Base and stir gently until fully incorporated. The final concentration of pure Ellagic Acid will be approximately 0.51% (3% of 17%), which is an effective concentration for skin brightening.
Madecassoside (Centella Asiatica Extract (Madecassoside 90%))
- Compatibility: Excellent. Madecassoside is water-soluble and highly effective for soothing and anti-aging benefits.
- Mixing: Since the Madecassoside product is a high-concentration powder, it is best to pre-dissolve it before adding it to the base to ensure a smooth, non-gritty texture.
- Take a small amount of purified water (e.g., 5-10% of your total batch size) or a small portion of the ANR Serum Base.
