Your current formula provides a good base for a lotion, incorporating ingredients like Purified Water, Disodium EDTA, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Milk Lotion Maker, Aloe Vera Extract, Pentaerythrityl Distearate, Apricot Kernel Oil, Pure-Naringin™, and Mild Preserved Eco™.

To enhance the lightweight feel, improve absorption, and further cater to sensitive skin, consider adding or adjusting the following:

• Lighter Emollients: Apricot Kernel Oil is nourishing, but for a lighter feel, you could replace some or all of it with lighter esters that absorb quickly without a greasy residue. Consider adding:

  • CocoSilk™ (Coco-Caprylate/Caprate): A lightweight ester often used as a silicone alternative, providing a smooth, non-greasy feel.
  • Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride: Another excellent non-greasy emollient that absorbs quickly and helps the skin retain moisture.

• Soothing and Barrier Support: Your formula already includes Aloe Vera Extract and Pure-Naringin™, which are beneficial for sensitive skin due to their soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. To further support sensitive skin and improve hydration, add:

  • Panthenol (Vitamin B5): Known for its ability to soothe irritation, reduce redness, support skin barrier function, and provide excellent hydration without stickiness.

By incorporating lighter emollients and Panthenol, you can achieve a lotion texture that is less heavy, absorbs faster, and provides enhanced care for sensitive skin, building upon the soothing benefits already present from Aloe Vera Extract and Pure-Naringin™. The Mild Preserved Eco™ is also a gentle preservative suitable for sensitive formulations.

Remember to adjust the percentages of the oil phase and emulsifiers (Milk Lotion Maker, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Pentaerythrityl Distearate) based on the desired final viscosity and feel when incorporating new emollients.
