Regarding the proposed alcohol-free perfume formulation:

• Water 45%

This formulation uses appropriate ingredients for an alcohol-free system. However, achieving a clear and stable solution with this specific ratio might be challenging.

Flora Solve™ Clear is designed to solubilize fragrances and essential oils in water. The recommended usage ratio is typically 2-5 parts of Flora Solve™ Clear for every 1 part of fragrance/essential oil. In your formula, the ratio of Flora Solve™ Clear (20%) to fragrance (15%) is approximately 1.33:1, which is lower than the generally recommended minimum.

Additionally, the formula contains a significant amount of Fractionated Coconut Oil (15%) and LipidSoft™ Deo (5%) in the oil phase alongside the fragrance. While Flora Solve™ Clear can help incorporate some oils, it may not be sufficient to create a clear, stable microemulsion with such a high total oil load (15% fragrance + 15% Fractionated Coconut Oil + 5% LipidSoft™ Deo = 35% oil phase) in 45% water. The mixture might appear cloudy or separate over time.

To improve clarity and stability, you might need to adjust the ratio, potentially increasing the amount of Flora Solve™ Clear relative to the oil phase, or reducing the total oil content.

Maximum Usage Percentages

• Flora Solve™ Clear: The usage is typically based on the ratio needed to solubilize the specific fragrance or essential oil (2-5 parts Flora Solve™ Clear to 1 part oil). There isn't a strict maximum percentage in the final formula, but using a very high percentage to solubilize a large oil load could make the product too viscous for spraying, as noted in the product description.

• LipidSoft™ Deo: The recommended usage level is 1-5% of the formula. It has a solubility limit of about 5% in water. Your proposed formula uses 5%, which is at the maximum recommended level and its water solubility limit.
